Polyetheretherketone is resistant to a wide range of solvents, making it an excellent material for use in a broad spectrum of applications where thermal, chemical and combustion properties are critical to performance. The addition of glass or carbon fibres or other reinforcing materials can enhance the mechanical and thermal properties of PEEK, which is produced in both compression-moulded and extruded forms, with differentiated properties.
Molded PEEK components absorb much less water than many other thermoplastics. Polymershapes offers PEEK in multiple grades and forms, in a variety of sizes.
