Delrin AF

With excellent sliding and friction properties, Delrin AF is best suited for moving parts where low friction and long wear is important.

Delrin AF

With excellent sliding and friction properties, Delrin AF is best suited for moving parts where low friction and long wear is important.

Delrin AF offers a higher limiting PV and has a lower coefficient of friction. This is due to the additional PTFE content. PTFE is fluorocarbon fibres uniformly dispersed in Delrin acetal resin. The addition of PTFE helps (typically) decrease the wear capability and impact strength. Delrin AF is available in different blends, from 12% upwards to full-strength 20%.

Most use scenarios are applications with bearings, bushings, cams and other antifriction devices that require toughness. Delrin AF presents a higher initial cost, however, the cost savings due to the elimination of costly lubricants and continuous maintenance make Delrin AF a budget effective choice.

Long-Term Cost Savings

Delrin AF has internal lubrication that aids in reducing or eliminating the need for external lubricant maintenance.

Extra Resilient

Able to withstand high loads and offers fantastic wear characteristics to ensure the longevity of your application.
