PETG

Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol, or PETG, is a clear thermoplastic. It can be formed into a number of shapes which makes it suitable for use in a broad range of applications.

PETG is easy to fabricate, heat-bend, and thermoform, making it well-suited to retail display applications. Primarily used in indoor applications, it can also be printed or painted for graphics applications. Polymershapes can meet your needs with a full range of PETG offerings from the world’s leading producers, including Vivak® from Plaskolite and Prime PETG from Primex.

PETG falls between acrylic and polycarbonate on the scale of impact resistance, with higher impact resistance than acrylic, but lower resistance than polycarbonate. It also meets FDA requirements for food contact and is available in thin semi-rigid gauges, as well as thicker gauge rigid sheets.

Food Safe

PETG can be used in food applications as it meets the FDA requirements in food contact safety.

Formable

PETG is great for retail displaying applications such as POP display or store fixtures as its material can be formed into a number of shapes to fit your needs.

High Clarity

PETG can be printed, silkscreen or hot stamped and each time producing excellent clarity in the image and design.
